Ben Frost X Moschino - StolenSpace Gallery

Ben Frost X Moschino

Ben Frost X Moschino

Iconic super-fashion brand, Moschino, has just launched their Fall/Winter Capsule Collection 2018, in collaboration with none other than the brilliant Ben Frost.

Ben Frost’s work subverts mainstream iconography from the worlds of advertising, entertainment and politics, to create bold and often controversial pieces of art. Moschino has used these recognizable Frost works for their focus fabrics of the stunning new collection, playing into the kitschy pop-art theme of Frost’s work.

The collection sees Ben Frost’s art being transferred to not only the clothes, but also in a series of handbags, bumbags, shoes, and phone cases.

Heading down the runway, each print on each item commanded its own attention, perfectly complimenting the inspired jet-setting 1960’s look of the models.

The collaboration between Moschino creative director, Jeremy Scott and artist Ben Frost comes as no surprise as the perfect fit. Scott has built a reputation upon being “pop culture’s most irreverent designer”, and “fashion’s last rebel”- while Frost has paved his way through the art world with his own rebellious, confronting work. The combined ideas and inspiration from both men certainly made for a unique, and exciting runway show in Milan.

In true Moschino fashion, Jeremy Scott wrapped the after party with a Ben Frost, ‘Crazy Fruits’ Renault car…

Concluding that there really is no limit to the impressive collaboration of this bold duo.
