Sydney-born painter Kevin Tran presents his European solo debut ‘Cosmic Pilgrim’, a collection of painted stories. ‘Cosmic Pilgrim’ reimagines a year of European exploration. Key places, people and experiences are deconstructed and reborn as a troupe of vivacious animals celebrating audacious adventure.
Evoking themes of folklore and spirituality, Kevin’s imaginative and playful style is a unique hybrid of loose, gestural marks, bold graphic shapes and intricate line work. Collectively, the pieces trace the artist’s journey in both the geographical and metaphysical sense.
