Mural Festival 2016 in Montreal has began and artists from around the world are filling Boulevard Saint Laurent and the streets around with incredible new pieces, including our very own D*Face.
MURAL’s mission is to democratise urban art, offering the public an opportunity to witness these amazing artists at work in real time, and attend exclusive music events in the evenings.
“I’ve always been fascinated by faded advertisements or ghost signs from bygone eras, so I attempted to replicate this as the foreground to the mural. The text relates to my family’s history having emigrated from Montreal circa 1915” – D*Face (via Instagram)
